at least 3.73 3.91 is better. 4.11 will start to seriously affect your freeway speed.

4.56's are going to be way too much gear for an average 347 with a 26" tire. You are talking 6800 rpms at only 115 mph

I miss hwy cruising in 5th w 2.73's kinda.

If install price wasn't so high I think I'd go "down" to 3.55 or 3.27 from 3.73. Driving my car on the highway is irritating, it needs a 6th gear.

No, in 4th, on the dragstrip. You never want to shift into overdrive on the dragstrip

Ha nah, the op was asking bout hwy rpm's and I assumed that's what we were taking about.
