I found out today that the stock gt radiator Is NOT going to be enough cooling for my 347. With a light foot you can get by but start hammering it and the temp rises. You all probly knew that allready but thought I'd share my exp.
If its in good shape the stock radiator will be fine on that very mild 347. Have it boiled if you want to be sure. Or buy a pep boys 3 core "max cool" radiator with a lifetime warranty for $150.
I'll be using ther FMS HD replacement radiator to cool my built 466 Big Block in my 91 hatch. And yes, it has been done before and works well. It should also work for you.
