A friend of mine recently bought an 88 GT 347 stroker with a complete trick flow top end. The car had a miss so we pulled the plugs and the ends on almost every plug were mashed down onto the electrode...we put a new set of plugs in and it ran good for about a day, the next day he said it started making a bunch of noise, the noise then went away and the car was missing again. We pulled the plugs and sure enough they were all damaged as before. i dont have any exact specs on the cam or the pistons. Any ideas on what would cause this?
