347 stroker question

I have a 1983 302 block that is bored .30 over and I was wonding if any kind of machining or modifications would have to be done to the block to build a 347 stroker any help would be appreciated thanks.

need to clearance the skirts.

there is some grinding to the bottoms of the cylinder jugs to make clearance for the longer throw of the crank. not too much, just enough for the crank weights and rods to make their way around.

Thanks for the info, is the grinding that needs to be done something that i could easily do myself or will it need to be done at a machine shop?

many peeps do it themselves with a die grinder.

Its the cranks throws?

In the 351W's,its usualy the connecting rod bolts.

But which ever it is its pretty easy,getting a good bit really helps.And take your time,and make it look good,you'll have no prblems.
