351 Cleveland in a foxbody?

i recently bought a 351 Cleveland and i waswondering what all i would have to do in order for it to work in my 1984 mustang gt?

Probably only needs a Fox body oil pan and headers. Otherwise it should bolt in. Accessory drive may take some work also.

some guy in 5.0 mag. had one in... can't remember the issue, one of the recent ones.

i have a canton oil pan for a 351c that is made for fox body....it had NEVER been used and is still in the box....pm if you are interested, i also have a TON of other cleveland stuff

Oil pan, headers and i'd suggest a serpentine belt setup, otherwise it'll bolt up just like a 351W would, and it's gonna rock your socks off...

Holocomb motorsports has a bunch of conversion stuff for 351c and big block fords. They have oil pans headers and motor mounts ect.. Now edelbrock has just released thier clevland heads. So where did you get a clevland at lucky guy?

well if anyone is interested i have a whole cleveland motor just sitting in my garage!...pistons, rods, crank, block, heads, pan, intake, rings......pm for details

would i have to change transmissions or will it bought right upto my T-5?

the bolt pattern is the same as 302/351w

Does anyone doing an engine swap have to worry about emissions? Is it even "legal" in CA? Damn California laws crapola

it would be illegal to put a cleveland motor in a fox in california...( it wouldnt pass inspections)

Is this a 351C-4V engine.The one with the large sewer port heads and valves?

that would be a badass setup in a newer stang with a 5 speed behind it
