Fuel Relay Delay

Hey yall, have a 351 Cleveland engine in my ‘67 mustang. Recently had an issue with I believe the fuel relay system. Even giving her a little bit of gas makes the engine sound like it wants to stall, but then continues running normally. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

We have to guess that its carbed, if so it might be the pump shot is not big enough.

Holly ? The excelerator pumps dry out with this new gas ,they get stiff and will not pump . I replace them with the green alcahol pumps
