Would 351 heads fit on our car? Also, how would they be?

yes they would fit. The 351w heads us a 1/2 inch bolt so you need a special head bolt to mount them but thats no problem because ARP makes them. You would want to get 1969 heads as they wetre the best flowing. 4V heads.

No in the old school world there were 4V and 2V heads. the V stands for venturi. So a 4V head came off of a 4 barrel engine. They had better heads then they installed on the 2 barrel engines.

i looked into that unless you have the older like 69 351 heads its not worth the time .. yes you will have more fuel and air going in however... your compression will be lowered too much to help and probley hurt your performance

my understanding is that the current e7 heads flow better. no hard numbers though. i just remember reading it somewhere, probably my engine building book or somewhere.
