351 heads on a 302?

The ls and the sbf have near identical cylinder spacing, I often use LS fuel rails on the sbf with aftermarket intakes as they are cheaper.
Honestly the LS is an amazing platform and I see no benefit from making this work... Just get a 4.8 or 5.3 out of the jy and drop it in.

You are wrong. Its true there is no performance benefit at all...but you don't take on a project like that for performance benefit...you take on a project like that to learn and overcome seemingly impossible challenges. It helps you to learn to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions, which in turn makes you more capable. Not all projects are about more HP.

You obviously have no idea what my previous projects entail.

I have designed and built custom blower setups with little more than some hand tools.

I wasn't disparaging your skills by any means, sorry if it came off that way. Its just that to me a project has more value the more custom work is done instead of parts bolted together. Its the same reason I don't care for Cars & Coffee events because 95% of the cars at those shows are bought, not built. If I do go to one of those shows I am the guy more interested in some rat-rod that a guy built a steering wheel out of wrenches for than the Ferrari 4 rows over.
