A buddy of mine buys old cars and trucks to restore and sell. He and I were talking and he is giving me a 351 out of late 70s truck. I just wanted to know what mods I need to get to fit in my 85 vert with an AOD. Just from looking at it on the stand it looks like it will fit no prob.

If you follow the link in my sig you will find a faq on swapping a 351w in a fox. I can't help much with the aod, as I wrote the faq for t5s.

I have some part numbers listed too.

Wow. Thanks a lot. I was talking to the guy this morning and he said he had every thing I would need to make it work. He also told me the block is bored like 60 over, has ported stock heads and a bracket master cam. I will post some pics when I get it done.
