351c 2v or 4v

The car did get totaled but i was trying to figure out if the motor was 4v or 2v whats the easiest way to find out i know it has 2v intake but when i check the vin it says 351 4v ram air an there is no ram air an i dont know if it is a 4v or 2v so how do i tell the diff an if it is the stock motor?

the 2v stands for 2 venturi or 2 barrel. the 4v is 4 barrel. to check to make sure you dont have a 4v engine with a 2 bbl intake just take off the carb, and look down a runner if the runner in the head is notacably larger than the intake runner then it at least has 4v heads

the 4v 'c' heads will have a '4' stamped on a little corner of the head just above the lip of the valve cover.... one of the heads will have it on the front of the engine on the intake side (i think)
anyone got a pic?

4v heads have a 4 cast right on them
