Hi guys, I've been busy for a while and I need to get back to working on my car.. I need to get the lower intake manifold gaskets for my 408 with AFR 205 heads and I know it's not ideal but the intake I'm using to get it running is an Edelbrock performer rpm efi... There's a few gaskets out there but I want to make sure I do it just once... Are these any good?

http://www.airflowresearch.com/fel-pro-1262-185cc-205cc-intake-gasket/ thanks in advance!

They make the same set with a steel core insert that keeps you from over tightening them. Those tend to squish out the ends and have a coolant leak or a hard to find vacuum leak.

I'm glad I asked, I'll be on the lookout for that! That's a fel pro gasket you're taking about?

I looked for a set of intake gaskets that best matched the ports on my 393w build and
ended up buying a set from Flatout gaskets https://www.flatoutgroup.com/
Installed and sealed with no issues
