How much should you expect to pay for a used 94 351W roller longblock? Keep in mind that this does not include the intake or injectors. I can get one for $500 with engine stand.

It would depend on the condition of the longblock.

If it's in decent shape $500 sounds reasonable.

I haven't examined it personally. But the guy who has it bought it to put in his Bronco over a year ago and now he won't be using it. Plus I know the guy, so I imagine he wouldn't sell it to me if he knew it wasn't any good.

Personally, I think $500 is too much. From what I see in my area, you can buy engines every day from 289s to 460s anywhere from $150 to $350. I guess it depends on where you live and how many are out there for sale. I think a fair price for what you are looking at with no intake and fuel delivery, I wouldn't pay over $300. That's just me.

I got mine for 300 bucks canadian and it was fully built bottom end all balanced. It also came with a rebuilt c-6 with a stage 2 shift kit in it. so i would say 500 is a little steep.
