351w local rebuilders??

i'm keeping the 351w. i only bought it because it was such a good deal and couldn't pass up. i know my knowledge is limited about the motor, so im learning. eventually it'll be built up. now that i'm finding out just how much it's actually going to cost. (researching while at work) its best to save money for now (until later) and just rebuild stock, port heads, kb "pistons", cam, and intake. i don't ever head to the track so nothing to serious. thanks for your help though. when i get it ready for install i know i can come here for good advice. thanks.. :D

Just use stock rebuild pistons. As I wrote earlier, your block had decent compression stock. Oddly enough, the stock rebuild pistons will likely come from Silvolite -which is owned by the same company that owns KB.
