Well just trying to make as much room as possible. I wanted to hear feedback on both. I have a 2.5 inch cobra rr svo hood and with the svo scoop my 2.5 inches starts wayyyy up in the middle of the hood instead of the back by the winshield on most cowls where the height is worthless.
If vert mounts and regular mounts feel the same in terms of vibration, then i will get the vert mounts for that extra bit of room. I will be running the TFS R Intake on the 351w so i need all the room i can get. I know one guy with regular mounts and a regular cobra rr hood(2.5 inch) that had a tiny bit of room on the front of the intake and a tad bit more at the rear. But another guy on here has the cervinis cowl and it rubs. I think his cowl is either 2.5 or 3.5. Both have the tfs r intake on a 351w and both have regular height mounts.
