Hey everyone, I picked up an 89 351w non roller. I want to throw in a 5.0 roller cam.
1. Can I mix a hydraulic roller cam with a mechanical roller lifter?
2. I heard if I use the mechanical roller lifters with the connecting bars that I don't need to use the dogbones and spider and I could use the 5.0 HO cams, true?
I know about the problem with the 5.0 roller rockers and cam not working with the 351 because the bore for the lifters is to short causing the lifters to lift up too far.
