3.73 suck with a stock cam do not go with 3.73 unless you cam your car or you have an auto
3.27 are so much better if your staying with a stock cam 3.55 are as far as id go with out a cam
but if you go 3.73 the b cam works very well with those gears

Basic math.

2.73 to 3.55 = approx 30% change
2.73 to 3.73 = approx 36% change
3.55 to 3.73 = approx 5% change

In my opinion, with how stock your car is, I would use 3.55's. If you plan on upgrades in the future, go with the 3.73's.

I have 3.45's and I have aftermarket heads, exhaust, intake, roller rockers... I like my gears. I have a T-5

3.08 to 3.55's = 15% change - pretty significant in my book.

I am running a set of 4:10 gears in an 89 LX vert with an AOD that is stock except for the exhaust. I cruise at 2100-2300 at 65-70 on the highway and get around 18-21 mpg. I drive the car 40 miles a day.

what kind of milage are people getting with a basicly stock setup, T5, and 4.10's?
