3650 Question

The throw out bearing is not hydraulic. However, the best throw out bearing, hands down is a Ford Racing one. I made the mistake of putting in an off brand one in mine (also with a 3650) and, in a matter of weeks, it was back out and being replaced with the Ford Racing unit. Same applies to the clutch cable, Ford Racing only.

I posted this in the SN95 Forum because it is an '03 drive train. I am installing it in a '65 fastback and the Rack and Pinion I am using is in the way of the cable. So I want to convert it to Hydraulic. The Bearings I have found say they fit T5, T45, the TKO's and 3550 and 3560. The thing is the bearings they show come with a new collar or a stud that goes in to the front case to hold the bearing assembly from rotating. The 3650's collar is not removeable and the only thing that screws into the front of the trans besides the bolts that hold the Bell Housing on is the pivot for the clutch release arm. I was hoping someone would know of an application for a Hydraulic bearing was used in a car that came with a 3650 trans.
