as the title suggests, I have an all forged '69 383W with Pro Comp 210cc heads and a Trick Flow R series EFI intake (long runner).

This motor will go in a 94 cobra with 3.73s and a 5 speed.

The crate motor long block came with an X303 and 1.72's (its hyd roller). But that lift, by my calculations would be .583" / .583". Do you think that's too much for the primary street use? I have a TFS 1 cam that i can put in, as well as another custom Comp cam.

I know that a custom for this application would be best, but I'm building this motor like now, so its gotta be a pre-ground stick. Thanks gents!

I'm running the X with 1.6's on the street and it makes pretty good bottom end even with a stock 302 short block. I'd probably opt for the TFS1 cam over the X either way.

I'm working on a 347, 351w and 408...... all of them are/will be fitted with CI customs.
