Hello,
I'm a mopar guy and my friend has a '69 mach I 390/4spd that he wants to restore,he would like to have the engine look stock but wants a strong running street car.The car now has a 4.11 thirdmember but he might switch to a 3.70 gear.I suggested having the rods resized with new bolts, balancing, nice head work, decent cam, painted alum. intake with holley carb.
What pistons would you choose?
Do the 390 blocks usually need to be squared?
Any opinions?
