Is this how much my hatch weighs??? Thats what the tag on my door post says, i thought they were way less!!

No your fox hatch wieghs less then that my friend. Around 3380 lbs I believe.

That is when the car is fully loaded. Four 180lb passengers, fuel tank of gas, etc.

how much does a 5.0 weigh anyway?? i would asume around 3k lbs. with out my fatty 120 of body mass..
what about coup?
what about convertable?
and hatch back??

im a lil over 200, i weighed my stock 91 LX hatch with 1/2 tank gas and a sub box in back it was 3200 without me in it, 3400 with me. i still have the printout (quarry scale weighs in 200lb increments)

I read somewhere that my car is supposed to weigh around 2600lbs but i always felt like that was a bit low. Apparently the carb coupes weighted a lot less because of the difference in intake weight and all the supporting EFI stuff. I doubt it weighs that little though.

Like i said, i think it's a bit optimistic. But on the other hand there's more to it than just EFI stuff....little things like the fact that i have aluminum bumpers on my car, also little things like smaller quarter glass that weighs less....after you factor up a bunch of little things they may very well equal a few hundred pounds, but i don't think it weighs less than 2800.
