3G Alternator Install Problems

I pulled out an 3G alternator I had purchased a few months ago to install it. When I got to looking at my stock wiring I discovered that I dont have the white/black wire you are supposed to cut and splice the new plug on to. I suspect the previous owner did something funny here as I've found a bunch of wiring problems on the car.

Regardless I need to know what to do about this wire. From looking at the wiring diagrams at the links below I think the wire goes from the voltage regulator plug you keep from your old wiring. Should that plug have a grn/red, yellow/white and the white/blk wire? Mine only has the first two, the third slot is plugged with silicon.

So do I need to run a wire from that extra slot on the old plug to the new plug that the 2G alternators don't have?

Okay so after doing some searching I belive the wire I am missing is called the stator wire. It should plug into the stator plug on the 3G. Where does this wire come from in case I need to make a new one? I cut the wrapping on the org/blk power wires back a as far as I could and I don't see the stator wire.

I like to use this plug from FFI. http://fordfuelinjection.com/?p=67
