anyone have any insight on potential inspection issues if you put on a CDC ducktail or equivalent that covers up the 3rd brake light?

I've been trying to look at other spoilers, but the CDC is my favorite and if I eventually go that route, I'd like to blend it into the rear deck and fender extensions.

street scenes makes a ducktail that looks very similar to the cdc one, but allows the 3rd brake light to show through.

if you like the CDC one, but want the brake light, why dont you get their high mount 3rd brake kit as well?

But as far as I'm aware, a car just has to come with a 3rd brake light. I don't know of a law that says a car must have one to be operable. Don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure.

i'll look into the CDC 3rd brake light kit and the Street Scenes setup...
