Anyone know where I can get a 3rd brakelight assy. for a 94-95 Cobra, or know anyone that has swapped out their wing and wants to sell it.
I can't seem to find one anywhere....

Part # F3DB-13A617-A

Mine is bad and ford no longer has them ( discontinued part )

I think you have to change the whole wing, i dont think you can just replace the the LED strip.

If one knows what they are doing, they can. Take it to an electrical repair shop if you don't know how and have them do it, or tell you what to do.

Might take some customization though.

Man that sucks. What a crappy design that spoiler is. Who would of though engineers would design something that isnt easily replaced...especially light bulbs

Maybe you could contact abcxlucives or someone like that who sells the aftermarket spoilers with the third brake light

Well you would think that you could find the lamp assy, as you can remove it from the wing.

At first I was just going to replace the individual LED's as it is just a 12.8/1.5W assy. but the engineers at ford decided that we could not be trusted changing LED's and sealed it with epoxy. On mine it would take like some mad dremel skills to get the lens seperated from the back assy. And since they are so hard to find I don't have the Stugots to try it.

I'm living without mine. What you may want to make sure of is that the wiring is ok. It could have a bare wire somewhere and shorted out or something. I've seen how much of a pain it is to remove that thing and all with the screws being on the bottom side of the wing. I am just gonna have to live without have mine until i get an S-281 or go wingless one of the two.
