I traded my 04 GMC Yukon with just under 200,000 miles for this Mustang GT back in June. My wife wanted me to get something that got better fuel economy. Can you tell she’s not a car girl? Lol. The following mods were done by the previous owner.

Exedy stage 1 clutch
Ford performance pilot bearing
Centerforce throw out bearing
K&N cold air intake
Steeda short throw shifter
BBK off road high flow x pipes with flow masters

Since I’ve got the car I replaced the rack and pinion due to a leak in one of the seals.

It only had 78k miles when I got it. For a 14 year old car it’s in pretty good shape besides the paint. Typical of the New Edge stangs.

Here are some pics from when I first bought it. The guy I got it from was a big Iron Man fan. However, I am not.

These cars have ridiculous wheel gaps. I can fix that.

Just a few small things that make a big difference. Now we’re getting somewhere. Next will be 4.10 gears and then a paint job. Let me know what you think and if you have any constructive criticism.

Gears will wake it up(wife won't like the mileage though lol), and a paint job will definitely help. What are your plans for it?

I’ve heard from many people that say the gears will be one of the best mods. I’ve got a cousin that had a 96’ GT and he was telling me the 4.10’s made his feel like a completely different car. Other than gears, paint (staying with original color), and wheels that’s about as much as I plan on doing for now. I may put it up for sale and if I get what I want for it I may get away from the convertible and get a coupe. As of now I’ve only got about $4k in it.
