Today was my 1st time bracket racing for consistency. I love it. My new personal best is now a 14.3 @95.96. I consistently ran 14.4-14.6! I lost the last race of the night, but it felt like a 14.0-14.1. I sandbagged it and crossed at 14.47 on a 14.52 dial in. My best mph was a 97.97 with a 14.5. Anyway, my 60's were 2.2 everytime and the street tires slipped a little each time and when shifting to 2nd. Anyway I got a little 3rd place trophy, which will hopefully be accompanied by more this season. Drag racing is like McDonalds, cause "dada dada da I'm loving it"

Thats awesome. Yesterday I went to the track too and I bracket raced. With a broken tranny I managed to get to the semifinals! I ended up eliminating myself cause my time was 15.12 and I ran a 15.113. I still got a trophy though. It wasn't bad for my first time at the track.

right on guys!

My wife's 93 LX w/ AOD would be perfect for bracket racing. It's consistantly slow, no matter what driving conditions are. I think they would turn the timer off and use a calender on it.

Dean-Good job on getting a trophy. Especially since it was your first time at the track. What do you have done to your car?

Paul- I have a cat-back, h-pipe, cai, pullies, adv timing. I put down 222rwhp a couple weeks ago. I am definitely satisfied with my et for now. Cause I'll have something to compare it to when the engine Rick is building gets stuffed in the car.

There were a couple AOD mustangs out at the track, two in my class. They went pretty far, but both ended up redlighting. There was a car that ran a 45 sec 1/4. It was ridiculous.
