That's a good price but if you are putting it in a 2003 you can have the computer flashed for the gear swap

i want to do the gears and speedometer at the same time but the mechanic doing the gears doesnt have a tuner. I figure this is my best option for getting by until I can do a dyno tune which will likely be next spring.

That's cool. Probably a lot cheaper too. The Speedcal works great. Ive had mine fro about 4 years now with no issues.

That speedcal is roughly a $100 part I believe, right? Not to make light of $240, but for $340 or so you can buy a Sniper tuner, which will recal the speedometer and also allow you to tune the car and squeeze some more power out of it.

I really do see your point, but I am on a budget for this. Once the car is paid off hopefully in a couple weeks, I will reevaluate MANY aspects of the car and decide where to spend money. I dont plan on getting a tune though until I have a couple more power mods to take advantage of. right now I only have and H-pipe and catback that really helps power, once I do some more boltons and maybe a cam I will be going to a tuner, but thats at least a year down the road to be real honest.

I have used their speedcal a few times over the years in a few of my 2v's. They work fine.
