Well, I'm about to get a new job so no more commuting for me! The mileage just depends on how you drive it. I prolly get only 20mpg, but realize that's with me beating the hell out of it on the road!

Couldn't agree more myself I am the same way..210 miles to a tank is best I have seen with all my city driving

Keep in mind the v6 is a pushrod motor and the 4.6L is modular. 3.73 is more or less the standard for them and 4.10 for modulars which rev and live off higher rpms.

That's good to know. As soon as I get them in i'm going to get a full dyno tune (I'm porting out my upper/lower intake manifolds a little more also, plus I just got a bigger MAF the other day) so i'll post up some numbers and some ETs, i'm hoping to be somewere in the mid 14s range, ...I better, other wise i'll be pissed.

You can put any gear in a V6, but you would still get owned my teh GT.

j/k

For real though. Those V6's are not rev happy engines, would 4.10s be good for them?

i drive 80 miles a day highway and get 21-22mpg, but that is with a couple miles in town and i drive it hard a bit as well, i figure on a pure highway run i could get 24-25.

mixed driving i get 18-20

That's pretty good and seems to go with close to what I'm getting. BTW, pretty good 1/4 time you got posted there for NPI motor. Checked out your mods, looks like a pretty good goal for my 'vert! Only one problem, do I take a vacation or do I do mods?

I got mine for 1904 at www.gefracing.con yours might be cheaper... I think, and install around here is 100$ at a local mustang speed shop.

... Well, when I first got my car, from what I remember anyways, is that it was a little slow on the rev and throttle response but now it's REALLY nice. I changed my rev and speed limiters with my diablosport tuner 'cause I couldn't stand that 115mph speed limiter and the 5k rpm redline and the 4k rpm idle rev redline. I turned my speed limiter off, idle rev limiter is at 5500rpm and drive rev limiter is at 6000 rpm, I love it. But I think I might be changeing it a lttle bit... not sure though.

Yeah, you're right. Gotta take the car to the beach and cruise in it some! It's too hot outside to work on the car now anyway!

the end of fouth is about 110mph then you have to go to 5th

at 70 mph my car is 2700, if you own a 01+ with t-3650 it will be 100-200 rpm lower because of a higher 5th gear
