i had 4.10s swapped in and calibrated with a diablo.

now i now that it allows me to rev faster and hit the powerband sooner, however, my speedo clocks much faster than it feels. i also measured my overall wheel diameter and corrected what was on the diablo OEM factory tune (812 tire revs) to 775 as per my measurement.

i can easily get up to between 60-80mph and 1 thing bugs me:

- the car feels like its moving slower than what my speedo states. what makes it worse is i know for a fact, my relative spped to other cars didnt change, yet im suppossed to be moving faster.

any insight?

im thinking im just not used to seeing my car at that speed as apparently my car was running at 812 tire revs which made it measure slower than what i was actually running at.

Drive past one of those things they put on the side of the road that calc's your speed.

Goto a smog shop, their wheel calc's speed.

Ask a cop friend to clock you.

Roll with someone and try to match speed.

Then adjust diablo.

http://www.corral.net/tech/gearcalc.html

this should help you get an accurate reading of your speed vs rpms, then you can compare it to what your car reads

i thought the whole point of getting a diablo was to correct the changes a different gear will give you.

i played with it again and all i did was change my rear ratio in the diablo and its still off - im now thinking i got 3.73s by mistake.
