95snoozer - You know that mo dingo didn't not mean going faster is pointless. As you know some of "us" aren't here just to go fast...we like having some parameters...that keep us "more" happy...
A taller tire does hook better like you said with the more "giveable" sidewall...but you also have more rolling weight (just to get technical)
