Should I go with 4.10's and the predator, or get an o/r xpipe with flowmaster a/t catback? Which one would benefit me the most? I'll probably do the gears since I'm not afraid but thought I'd ask.

you know, im in exactly the same dilema. i want 410s but i also want the a/t catback and i also want an o/r h. but i might just start with the gears. of course you wont gain any power like with the other mods but the car will "feel lighter" and "wake up" as ive heard many times. thats my .02

ok how bout this
option 1

4.10's - $180
labor - $250 ish
predator- $400

total of $830 or there about's

option 2

o/r pipe - $200 ish
catback- $400

total of $600

so here's what you do:

gears - $180
labor - $250
sp. cal- $80
o/r x -$200

for a total of $710

you saved a little money, & you got the two biggest benefactors to your cars performance (gears & o/r x)for less money than the predator & gears that you were thinking about. so you have the best of both worlds

i think you can get gears cheaper than that.. I got mine for 139.. it just takes time but you'll get all of the mods eventually. I started mine with complete exhaust.. but that's just me though..

Got my 4.10s installed yesterday, it's like a night and day difference!! I would go gears, however exhaust is also a great idea.

Thanks for your opinions guys, and I have been thinking about it so I am going to get gears and the predator. Ordering the predator thursday, and the gears next thursday. Then the following week install them.(i only get to keep 200 of my check a week since I'm 17 and pay for my car).

Well that's good you're learning to manage your $$$. Just take your time, research mod parts instead of just buying anything . Another thing don't be like alot of other people and put $hit load of $$$ on a credit card and end up paying out the @$$ for years. I had to learn the hard way. I had a 97GT and charged up everything.. ended up totaling the car out . I thank GOD I had the "loan payoff" option included in my insurance. I got enough $$$$ back to pay the card off and then get a 00 GT without any credit card debt . Now I have just about all the bolt ons and I paid cash for all of my mods on this one (well check card). Oh yeah get gears (4:10's) .
