damn it i just got my car back today from my gear install and let me tell you 4.30's are the way to go. They are f in awesome. I used to barely be able to grab a 2nd gear squal now i can burn threw 2nd into 3rd and chip the tires in 4th. It livened my car up something great. I highly reccomend motives 4.30's and they dont whine and arent bad at all to install my mechanic said. I only needed one shim and that was the factory shim that was already in place.

Glad to hear you like the 4.30 gears. I have them and love mine. Now, you can join me when I advise people that 4.30 gears are not too steep for a n/a 4.6ltr GT.

what's yourt rpm while cruising at say 70mph ? Im just curious.. they must have livened the car up in a big way..

ive got 3.73s and traction is hard to come by... and if you're like me, and have to pay near on $9/gallon for gas, cruising rpm is fairly important !!!
