Does the starter need to be removed in order to drop the transmission (T45). Or is one of the bolts going through the back of the block. Any help needed. Thnx

All three bolts go into the transmission. They are 13mm. The bottom one is easy. The middle and top ones are harder. I removed my A/C compressor and accessed those two easily. I put 10mm bolts back in the top bolt (same thread size though)....so if there is a next time, I have more room to move the tools around.

I came through the front of the engine for the top one with a few long extensions.
