i have a 2001 ford crown victoria with the 4.6l 2v modular engine and it idles like it has a wild cam in it when i unplug the vacuum line to the egr valve diaphram it idles fine i replaced the dpfe sensor with no results any tips
If you repost your problem with some punctuation, it may be easier for us to understand what your issue is. It's difficult to understand exactly when you car idles rough. Is it before or after you disconnect the vacum line?
check your egr vacc solinoid [stuck open] you shouldn't get vaccume at idle from your egr valve vacc hose follow the vac line from you egr you will fine a vacc solinoid
i figured out what was wrong i had the wrong vac line going to the egr valve i had to swap it with the one i had going to the evap purge valve i just pulled and reinstalled this engine
