I'm not as familiar with the 99 (i didn't even know they had 6 cats instead of 4) but I think it would make a little difference but it would be so small it wouldn't be worth it imo. who knows though

yeah, im pretty sure it should bolt up, less cats is always better, unless you are having emissions problems. should change the tone and loudness for the better. no harm in trying it to see if you like it

I though it was only cali cars that had 6 cats. could be wrong.

If you are not worried about changing the emissions equipment I would go to 2 highflow cats or none at all.

i wouldnt bother changing a 6cat to a 4cat. to much trouble for nothing. just get an aftermarket 2cat midpipe. (that is if you realllllly want to have cats. i prefer none )

He will have to find the 4 cat mid pipe somewhere unless he has found someone to give it to him. you can get used midpipes on eaby cheap enough. I would get a o/r pipe x pipe. I expected the catback to be the bigger gain and it felt to me like the midpipe was the bigger gain. swap the stock one back in if there is a inspection.

Alright, I think everyone is missing the fact he already HAS a 4 cat midpipe, from his own car. In which case, I say do it
