Ok, I know where I can get a stroked out 5.0 Capri and an 89' 4cyl manual hatchback. How hard would it be to put the 5.0 into the Fox and would the other parts be interchangable such as the axle and tranny? Any help on the matter would be grateful, thanks.

i am planning on doing the same cuz the body of my fox now if sort of rusting away.....but yes u can, i dont know if the motor mounts will line up exactly though, but it will fit, the axles will fit and the tranny u may or may not have to do some re modeling, not to sure. all the wiring will fit right in......basicly the 4cyl is the same body just a lower grade, weaker axle and tranny and smaller engine, and diff interior.

motor mounts should mount up. they are the same body. the k-member is the same for fox bodies in the 4cyl or v-8. if you are going fuel injection then you need the wiring from the donor car. rear end will work but is incredibly weak, atleast from my experiences, but some will say different. If you need some more info then pm me or email me but it is a long list. dont get overwhelmed is the one piece of advice that will help you. totally worth it in the end. If you have decent mechanic skills and a decent amount of tools you'll be good to go. it goes by fast so make sure you take as many pics as you can. I forgot, so i have no "inprogress" pics. Just b4 and after. by the way, if anyone has a 4cyl notch back then I am in the market for one.

I have a notch. What would your budget be? Where are you located?
