My gas gauge in my 5.0 quit (I've tracked the problem to the actual gauge) working on me. I found a gauge out of a 4 cyl car for free. Are there any compatability issues with the gas gauge or the oil pressure gauge thats part of the same panel? Both are from an '87-'93 car. Thanks.

the gauges changed from like 87-89 and 90-93 or something like that i dont really remember.

Yes, two different gauge pods. 87-89 and 90-93.

If the gas gauge is from the same year pod, it will work fine, only if that's the only part you swap. The tachs are different

Mine is a 1990. I didn't get the year of the car it came from but it did have a blown airbag. I think airbags came out in 1990 maybe?

mines an 89 and i had a airbag in it when i got the car. so i dont know if that was stock or not.
