Most Mustang people know about the '79 Pacecar, but few know that there was a Pacecar in '86. First think we should do is file for a lost title. Once they've completed research and see that's it's not stolen we'd have a new title issued in our names. Once in hand, we'd show up at the old guys house with a tow tuck and a cop demanding that our property be released.

I don't think that is an 86' pace car, the gauges in the dash look like 79-82 style, The hood is the 1979-82 style, and the forum states last inspected in 1986. Just my observation.
