On your dash to the left of the power point in a 3 switch dummy plug. Take a small screwdriver and pop the plug out. If a small section of the wiring harness is plugged into the back of the dummy plug you can do the cluster swap. If it's not there you'd need a nice portion of your wiring harness replaced first. From what I've heard Ford stopped including this part of the wiring in late '05 if the car was not already equipped with the mycolor cluster.

I don't think I did a write up for the sticky. Basicly, you'll need to see if you have the wiring behind the dummy plug, then get the switch assy to replace the dummy plug and get the Ford dealer to order you a cluster. Then go to the service dept and get them to swap the cluster after they extract the information out of yours. Then they will install the info to the new cluster. It will take them about 15 minutes to do it all.

The dealer will ask for your current mileage so when they order the cluster from The Cluster Center it will be programmed close to your actual mileage. I think the cluster will cost around $400 give or take and the switch assy will cost around $45. The dealer will charge an hour labor for the cluster swap. It only takes 5 minutes to do the swap and I mean 5 minutes. It takes even less time to extract and re-install the cluster information. I actually met the dealer mechanic in the parking lot and swapped the clusters myself while he was standing there. He did the extraction and programming and charged me nothing. I know the guy though.
