the lower mount brackets on the 8.8 are the same distance apart as the leaf spring mounts on the early stang. the problem is that they are angled inward enough that the fox body lower arms will not work. griggs racing however has new mounting brackets for the 8.8 to allow using the fox body lower arms to work with the stock leaf spring chassis mounting points. you will then have to either fabricate upper arm mounts, not hard, but tedious, or fab up a torque arm and panhard rod. griggs racing also has the torque and panhard bar for the early car using an 8.8. then you need either coil over shocks, or upper spring buckets mounted in the early car. coil overs are the best way to go as you only need fab an upper crossmember to mount the shocks to. again griggs racing can be a big help there as well.
