They cant make a bullitt rim in 4 lug because of the design. Look at the pic in the post. You can see what I am talking about with the lug nuts.

Stop being so cheap and convert to 5 lug cause you cant have them in 4. It costs like 300 bucks for the conversion.

I have seen the design and understand that it would be hard to make but i have seen other 5 spoke rims for the fox bodies. Thanks hllon4whls for the input.... And I am sorry we all cant afford 300 bucks for the conversion plus all the time that goes into it so piss off. And i dont mind the 4 lug and can find rims i like in the 4 lug style.

How you can afford Bullitt rims but not 300 for safer brakes is beyond me. As for time, it takes about 2 hours to convert. Pull the C-clips and swap axles, then install new drums. As for the front, pull off old rotors and calipers and install new ones.

Well, for one, it was a future upgrade. I just put on new rotors and pads and then i bought new pads for the rear so I have already spent $$ on the brake system I have now and dont wanna waste that $$. for the time issue, within a few days I will be having surgery on my shoulder so then I wont have time. I do plan on doing the conversion, but much later on. On one point you are right, I wouldnt want to waste money on 4 lug bullits then do the conversion and have to buy 5 lugs. Where do you get the conversion kit for $300?? Very interested at this point.

Unfortunatly the bullitt rims will not fir with that setup.

You would need a 94+ Sn95 front setup to run those rims.

But i'm another 5-lug advocate. those 20 year old Fox brakes need to go

cobra rims and the like have a centralized hub section not divided by the spokes, on bullitt rims the 5 lugs are machined between the 5 spokes....

For the record. There are no 4 lug bullit rims. It is a physical impossibility. Look at the lugs. As far as a 300 5 lug conversion. That is wrong. And people that suggest putting in drums in the rear with a 5 lug conversion, you should not be listening to them. I mean after all, why go through all of the hassle, and not put disc's in the rear? You can piece together a 5 lug conversion kit, and you will need SN95 stuff to do it to make the Bullits fit, correctly. I believe that Mustang 5L5 did it for a crazy low price, but you will probably spend between 500-1000 for all of the parts to make it fit, then add in about 7-11 hours for install. You also have to take into consideration that you will need more stuff than he suggests. Pads, brake line fittings, fluids, parking brake cables, proportioning valves, master cylinder, brake booster, spindles, rotors, calipers, and way more stuff that was not mentioned above. If you want Bullits, do it correctly. If you already did the brakes and you don't want to upgrade, you better look for different wheels, probably 4 lug.

you guys crack me up HAHA!

Yeah I kind of figured I would need more, hence why I asked for a $300.00 conversion kit, I guess I failed at sarcasm.... but the rest of you picked up on it. I was thnking of going with some centerline coronas... seen them and they look good. I was wondering if a 235/55 r16 would fit on the rear of my LX? any suggestions for the front size?

Do yourself a favor. If you get wheels and tires, get an 8 inch wide rim at the least. If you get 16's which I would not, I had 16's and wished I had gone 17's. I finally made the jump to 17's, and they look so much better than 16's. Here are the tires sizes I recommend.

16 inch rim

225/55/16 - Blah if you want stock size
245/50/16 - this will look good

Or

245/45/17 - Stock on all GT's from 94 on.
or
255/40/17 front and 265/40/17 rear

I personally would go 245/45/17 if you are going to drop the money on wheels and tires.

Plus 235 is kind of a weird size and may not be available from some tire manufacturers. 225 and 245 are the most common. Hope this helps.

How many times do I need to tell you people that you can use mustang/lincoln rotors with the newer style rims. It works fine, and I did it on my car with spacers. In fact its even better because it widens the track and moves the tire away from the inner fenderwell and sway bar where it usually rubs. Just dont go larger than a 235 or 245. I used longer studs and 14/16th spacers from summit for like 40 bucks.

I know, who thought that something sold by steeda or summit and made of a forged metal would be so bad?
