Put hardened wheel studs in the rear axles, and you shouldn't have to worry about ever shearing them off unless you are running spacers/adapters.

You can get many different sizes of Pony rims in 4 lug and they look great.

The reason I wanted to know about the limitations of the 4 lug were more for brake options then wheel selection. I found a set of 4 lugs that i like but didn't want to buy them and down the road to have a good braking system HAVE to swap to 5 lug. Why by rims twice?

Baer does make 4-lug kits.

They have a 12" and 13" front setup as well as a 12" rear sport setup.

The 13" front and 12" rear kits are C4 brakes basically.

The 12" front is similar to the very rare 1LE Camaro brakes

Both front calipers are very similar to the PBR's used on Cobras.

Imagine that, in 4-lug, in a 12" and 13" option and that' the baer kit

BTW, that's also the same caliper used on the '93 Cobra R. Those PBR's were passed around a lot.
