4 piston brake caliper

Its pretty new but there is a 2007 Shelby Brembo big brake four piston kit in the 2007 FRPP catalog that you might want to look into. Be sure you verify that the backspacing of your rim is sufficient to clear the caliper though! And be sure to sell those Cobra calipers to offset some of your costs!

If i had 18" wheels, i'd have these on my car by now

it will only make a big difference if you go to a 14 inch caliper.

The PBR/Cobra calipers are enought for me.....but then again you have a heavy New Egde Vert

Gotta love the Lightness of a hardtop SN95

Absolutely, the four piston design has two pistons pushing on each side of the rotor instead of on just one side like the GT and the Cobra calipers. Pushing on both sides is the way real race car brakes are designed.

I kept seeing those silver Brembo's, but could never find out where to buy them. I was about to buy the '00 Cobra R kit and I was really bummed that I could only get them in black. So are the silver ones the same as the black ones that come in the '00 Cobra R kit? They look slightly different. I know the caliper in the '00 Cobra R kit uses the same pads as the Dodge Viper so I liked that it would be easy to get pads. If these are the same as the black ones in the '00 Cobra R kit, I'll get the silver ones and find my own rotors and braided lines. Does anybody know?

I am pretty sure those silver ones are for the Focus RS and have been discontinued. Some vendors may still have them but I would definitely confirm availability before ordering...
