my general lack of knowledge of what? a preference of how i want my car to sound? only an opinion if you ask me and we all have one. how much do flows really cost, seriously? you get what you pay for... another opinion that you might misinterpret as a lack of knowledge. and i still am boggled by ur car running high 12's w/ only mufflers and some tires. you can explain that yourself.

Ok , I got jacked cause you came into a thread about Flowmaster mufflers with the sole intent dissing them. Also I do like John Deere tractors although I don't own one. I'm over that now, so let's move on.

Seriously if you aren't aware of my mods then I can post them here once again. Yes, there is more than gears and tires obviously, although my 12.89 was ran with only 249rwhp. The invite to come to BG for a little track time is always open, I think you'd have a blast and go back with some good info about how to spank a LS1.

P.S. I don't care what mufflers you have as long as you like them.

I prefer a DC sports or Apexi catback with big fart resonator so the ricey notes of our small displacement motors gets muffled. They sound deep and mellow baby!

Well, the Super 40's and the mufflers in the American Thunder catback are the same mufflers. The only difference is the Super 40's are painted black.

OFF TOPIC: I love my MAC Flowpaths. I'm glad I got rid of my Flow's.

Yes they are. An aquintance of mine ordered a pair to weld into his AT catback, and they sounded the same. He called Flowmaster and questioned them and the tech he talked to said that they were the same but just painted black.

Sadly, they are. Do a search on Super and Flowmaster, and the thread about the "scam" should surface.

ive got the whole catback with Super 40's

i get TONS of compliments on the sound.

Sounds wicked and clean under WOT especially.

Had a guy in a SS ask me if i had the bassani exhaust, when i told him flows, he said "WHAAAAT!" "That car sounds badass!"
