I just recently got my fathers car dyno tuned and with a catback flowmaster and pulleys it hit 244.8 and 287lbs tq. Should he buy an x-pipe or go for like a throttle body and intake plenum or throtle body and bigger mass air??? also what size throttle body? it is for a 2000 gt.. Where is the best place to buy? Thanks

Most will tell you that a bigger mass air meter is useless on a basically stock car. The stock mass air is good til about 450 HP. An x-pipe will give you about 10-15 HP. Check here for the throttle body/plenium combos and decide for yourself.

Yeah, gears would be the best bang for the buck, but if the choices are plenum&TB vs midpipe vs MAF, go with the midpipe for the biggest gain. 2nd place would go to the plenum and TB (the nice part about this combo is it is so easy to install, as opposed to the midpipe). Forget the MAF.

Also a vote for the gears. Dont mess with the MAF because they only make power by leaning your engine out and usually cause more problems than they are worth.
