So this is just for my own curiosity... Would it be possible to get a 426 Hemi out of a 1970 Cuda into a fox and working?

This guy I know is selling one in good condition, i'm not thinking of buying it.. just wondering. Also, anyone have any ideas on how much he can get for it?

I would go with a race prepped 427 any day over a Hemi. They were powerful enough to win Le Mans and beat out Ferrari, that's good enough for me.

Just for reference, this is the 427 i'm referring to:

Original HEMI motors are priceless. It really depends on the type of car, and the type of HEMI/year of it.

I read a story of this guy who accquired a numbers matching car....only to find out the motor was not numbers matching. He ended up finding the original motor in another country!! He tracked it down, and bought it from whoever had the thing. I don't remember what he paid, but it was an insane amount of money. He took it all apart and found a broken connecting rod, so that is why it was replaced a number of years ago.

if you look at the all the frame off restoration dodges they are bringing in close to six digits. I wouldnt put a potential gold mine like that into a fox.

Blasphemy, All of it. At least stick to one brand and run with it thats almost as bad as the guys dropping Ls1's into foxes. It would be really cool however to see that thing in like a Dart or a Duster.
