I know that some of the truck guys had mentioned it before but haven't paid a great deal of attention. I just noted thought that the Crane 801 camshaft appears very similar to the Cobra Jet cam with bigger lift.

Does anyone have any .050 numbers for the factory Cobra Jet camshaft?

I have searched several forums, including this one and 428cobrajet.com with no luck.

While Crane's 801 does have slightly similar adv. duration specs to the factory CJ cam, the lift figures are almost 070-.080 inch higher. That's not even close.

So, you don't know the .050 Specifications?

The advertised duration, and overlap specs are exactly the same according to the numbers I do have. the lift is .048-.058 more intake and .080-.090 more exhaust depending on whose numbers for the CJ cam you are reading (or which paragraph in the book.) This is why I ask for .050 figures.
