Goddamn. I'd probably kill myself on a 60hp bike. But 500hp? Thats just ridiculousness. Their days are numbered, and its not a big number.

I was pretty amazed at my buddy's R6 which put down 137HP at the rear wheel. I freely admit that I would be scared with that kind of HP to weight ratio. It's funny, usually people go for 1-1.5 HP per cubic inch.

That bike is putting down 1-1.5 HP per POUND.

Boy, aren't you a brilliant one. You'd take someone's life just because you don't like how they lead theirs? Vehicular manslaughter comes to mind, but since you even mentioned wanting to swerve at them, that could justify pre-meditation which would get you charged with murder 1. Bikes are far more stable and agile at those speeds than a car. Is it stupid to do what they do? Absolutely, but that doesn't give you the right to be an @$$hole and kill them either. By the way, before you open your mouth, you might think about the fact that some of us DO ride, and riding on the street is dangerous enough without some dumb***** like you threatening our safety.

i can care less what you bike riders think your idiots when i almost got ran off the road from a ****ing bike swerving thru traffic with my baby in the truck i say F U C K bike riders that **** is stupid...i never said i was going to do that i just said i would like to to show them how stupid they are they risk everyone elses lives it would be nice to see one of them get scared on the road like they do to us....having to be all paranoid while driving because some retard is flying by you at 100+ mph to stay out of his way keep clear if he gets to close to move farther overand if he does fall we got to slow up to avoid ruinning his retarded ass over....

i have seen two bike accidents one was a guys that just got his bike and was burning out and slipped up and the bike shot down the road and into another car.... the next was a guy swerving thru traffic in and out everyone having to hit the brakes to let him in and what not traffic got slowed up and he was in the middle it was close to a light turned yellow he was a couple cars back and thought he was better then traffic and didn't need to stop so he started to take off and hit a car since he ran a red light doing like 30mph

i have no problem with bike owners if they ride there bikes no need to be stupid about it just cruise

My cr500 makes around 60-70 hp...that thing is scary enough at 90+ MPH...and its a bitch to stop without trying to kill yourself. I want a streetbike...but definately not one like that. That guys balls must be the size of balloons.

My buddy's r-1...bone stock traps 130+ in the 1/4 he says that is one wild ride!

those bikes are pretty bada33, guy riding looks like he knows what he's doing as well. Looks like some anger brewing in here...FWIW looks like those vids are from Europe on an Autobahn, rules are a little different across the pond.
Being a bike rider, people drivng cars are just as dumb as bikers...
latest trend is those doing 5 mph under the limit in the left lane...talking on their cell phone
Guess the real point comes down to the ol' "I'm a better driver than you" of course the next guy is better than anyone else, you get the idea. It's all an opinion...
drive safe gang, at least adhere to your opinon of safe
and, awesome bikes, I'd ride a 500hp bike anytime

Well, my turbo busa only puts down 330 rwhp. And if it wasn't stretched 6 inches, I wouldn't ride the damn thing. Before the turbo install and before the stretched swing arm, I couldn't keep the front end down on it. So I knew I had to get the swing arm before the turbo set up. And as much as I'd love to sit here and tell you all that I'm not scared of that bike, I can't. That thing scares the hell outta me. Especially at the track ( the 2 times I ran it) and at about 145mph the front end tries to come up. I'm not man enough to stay in it. I let out of it and coast from the 1000 ft mark to the 1320. 8.82 in the 1/4 is fast enough anyway.

Anyone who does that stuff on the street is living on borrowed time. And the guy they borrowed it from is going to collect sooner than the borrower would like.

Putting the turbo on my bike was one of the stupidest things I've ever done. I used to be able to ride it and enjoy it, but now you can't get in it hard at all with out running over someone. And people in cars either don't see ya coming or just don't care.

Just my 2 cents.

A customer of ours lost his life on a busa in 2 weeks, and it was just stock. I can't imagine how touchy that thing is.

Myself, my dad, and several of our freinds all ride. I ride motocross and the rest of them ride on the street. Most motorcycle riders go out of their way to watch out for other drivers and are better at driving cars when they do get behind the wheel. True, some ppl ride like idiots but that doesnt mean you can take it upon yourself to swerve in front of them cause theyve got a bigger sack than you. Stop mouthing off with nonsense like this, you make yourself sound like an absolute jackass. grow up man.

So you're justifying your wish to swerve at someone on a bike, just because YOU don't like what they choose to do? Dumb***es like you make me seriously consider turning my bike into a track-only bike just to avoid people like you that have a hair up their *** with all bikers because ONE biker did something stupid. Wow, talk about painting everyone with the same brush... I'm sure no one in a car has ever had a close call with you, that you had to slam on the brakes or swerve, right? Let's swerve at everyone in a car now, too. That will show them who's boss! I don't give a damn about the accidents you've seen either. Everyone has some sort of story about some driver/rider doing something that showed they lack any common sense. That doesn't mean everyone follows the same course of action they do, but according to you, we're all bad and deserve to be severely injured or killed. Grow the **** up. If you're worried about being able to maintain your lane while someone on a bike is passing you, go back to driver's ed. Driving in a straight line has got to be one of the first things they teach you...

I'm recalling two things I learned in grade school:

1 - Think before I speak.
2 - Punctuation is a great thing.

You're right, I don't know your situation, nor do I care to, but the comments you made tell me you have some maturing to do, so I stand by my previous statement. I am however, willing to let this thread and our argument die and be civil, and say let's agree to disagree on the subject of bikes.
