i got a 02 gt auto on my tailhouseing of the trans there’s this yellow plastic peace that is being held in with one bolt(sorry i am getting pics) does anyone know what this does or if this bolt controls anything in the trans. i got to loosen it and move the peace down more cause its leaking from there

definitly need a pic. Dunno why it'd be leaking from a bolt

its leaking from the pastic peace not the bolt it looks like theres an indent for this peace but its off by a hair and it leaks out of that.

Is it the speed sensor maybe? I just did a auto to manual trans. swap on my 96 Gt, i remember that is held on by one bolt???

theres no wires going to it its just a plastic plate i'll have pick later

That slot is for a vss or speed sensor. Your vehicle doen't have this because PCM uses the OSS sensor for this,thats the black sensor forward of this in your pic.
