I know cobras and mach1's are 4v and gt's are 2v. But what does having 4v mean compared to 2v? Meaning the differences between the two besides a difference of 2v. Before i even ask that question what is 4v and 2v. I know it has to do something with valves, i think. Someone enlighten me.

Each piston head (8 of them, one for each cylinder) has an exhaust valve and intake valve on a 2v motor. The 4v motor has 2 intake valves and 2 exhaust valves. Having 4 on each piston head allows some better breathing at higher RPM for higher hp. That is why GT's have a little more low end grunt than the 99 and 01 cobras down low, but the cobras pull harder, smoother, and longer up top. Hopefully i've explained this correctly.
