my father wrecked my 95 and now i am looking at 4.6 cars just because it's different and new. what are some n/a 4v combos that make some good power like around 400rwhp or better?
a local here made 400rwhp on a stock 99 cobra shortblock with fr500 heads, cams and intake, along with all the other basic bolt ons, that same car makes something like 460 at the wheel now with 304BB shortblock.
the guys over at SVT performance suggest FR500 or type R heads, comp cams, ported intake (or fr500 if you have the cash), billett flow TB, JLT or Demolet CAI, and full basani exhaust with a good tune for over 400 to the ground.
if you dont want to piece your car together you can talk to the guys over at WWW.modularmustangracing.com and have them build you a long block that would up the compression a bit to make a very nice NA beast that will be bullet proof.
if you think you may want to go blower then just stick with 2v... its cheaper and responds nearly the same with a blower, particularly positive displacement blowers.
